Miss Ann Brady, who has a position in Washington, D. C., attended the Methodist Sunday School picnic, Saturday. She also visited,, her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bennett and their family in Front Royal. , Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lillard £ and children visited Mr. and Mrs. .O. J. Fincham in Rixeyyille on Sunday. Miss Shirley Lillard returned home with her parents. . Clyde J r. stayed with his grand parents.
Mrs. John S. Browning, M, H. Brady and Paul Miller motored to Camp Rock Enon, Saturday, and were accompanied home by the boy scouts campers.
Seventy persons enjoyed the annual picnic of the Flint Hill Methodist Sunday School, ■'held - Saturday at Elizabeth’s Furnace. The youths enjoyed the swimming and games, and both the youths and^tlje grown-ups seemed to be having a good time with the usual large spread of food. Members of the committee who made arrangements for lunch and transportation (and who deserve a hearty thank you) were: Mrs. Lock Burford, Mrs. Herbert Foster, Mrs. Emory Russell and Mrs. Paul Miller.
