Don’t forget Saturday, July 30th is final date set for farmers having heifer calves 4 to 8 months of age Bang’s vaccinated for free.
Understand farmers in adjoining counties are really taking advantage of this “for free” Bangs testing and Bangs vaccinating in order to get in line. You know the day passed sometime ago when the dairyman had to have a clean herd before he could sell Grade A milk. The “hand-writing” is on the wall indicating that such will soon be a requirement for feeder-calves being shipped into Pennsylvania. We’d better get going.
Get protection of the , heifeis you’re going to keep by having them Bangs vaccinated while it’s free and before the heifer gets too old. Better let your wants be known before Saturday if you don’t want to get left out.
