Earl Combs reported this week that his herd has had two consecutive clean tests this year. Also the Greenaways’ herd is now certified. Congratulations to these two beef herd owners. . During 1954 the; official Bangs control report shows: Culpeper County—16,315 tested; 3,538 vacccinated. Fauquier County—21,541 tested; 5,663 vaccinated^ Page County—717 tested; 1,255 vaccinated. Madison County—2,160 tested; 1,658 vacccinated. Rappahannock County— 1,786 tested; 1,149 vaccinated. Warren County—1,615 tested; 546 vaccinated. The Virginia Angus Feeder Calf Exhibit to be made at Ohio will J>e assembled at Culpeper, August 3rd. I’m proud that Rappahannock will again be represented. This year by calves from the Combs herd—last year by calves from Thornton Hill Farm.
