A Rappahannock Home Demonstration planning meeting was held in the Court House at Washington, July 21, beginning at 10 ajn. Mrs. Mabel Lillard, County vicechairman presided. Mrs. Luther Stuart gave devotions. Mrs. Clara Pearman, county chairman, gave purpose of the meeting. Mrs. Elizabeth Powers, home agent, gave statements of. accomplishments as basis for future program contents. Mrs. D. D. Miller gave report of accomplishments of 1955 Federation Goal. Mrs. Ann Thompson talked on 4-H club work, its needs and accomplishments. Miss Eva Minix, District Agent, held a discussion of next year’s program.
Committees were appointed by Mrs. Clara Pearman before the lunch hour.
At the afternoon session, Mrs. Clara Pearman, county chairman, presided. Reports were given by the committee chairman. A well planned 1956 program was presented by the calendar program.
A business session was held.
