A short time later Trooper Buntin and Investigator Wilson picked up Earl Dodson on suspicion, and after questioning he confessed to being a party to the same robberies as Atkins.
At Lea Bros. Store about six , dollars was taken from the cash register, some meats, i milk and a small amount of groceries. The safe was opened and a strong box containing valuable papers was taken away and opened some distance from the. store. The strong box and papers were recovered.
1 he officers working on these burglaries are to be commended for their prompt action and arrest of the culprit*. Both men were in Jail within eight hours after the burglaries had been discovered.
