service technician. In addition the policy allows veterans with special qualification a choice of base assignment or overseas theater where he would like to serve.

In the past, one of the greatest deterrents to reenlistment was the 90-day after discharge time limitation. For veteran who possess skill which are needed by the Air Force, that time has now been extended.

In other skills which are classed as surplus, grade determination will depend mostly on date of seperation. Veterans reenlisting with a skill surplus to present needs will be offered the opportunity to train in a specialty of their choice which is currantly needed. At the present time all specialities are listed under six classifications ranging from needed to surplus. From time to time the classification of the specialties will be changed depending upon the needs of the Air Force.
