LATHAM, JR.
Graveside funeral services were Jield on Friday August 3rdj in the Amissville Baptist Cemetery for Armistead Clifford Latham, Jr. who was instantly kiled oh Aug. 1st, when the car in which he was riding crashed into jan enbankment.
His pastor, the Rev. jjohn 'Hodge, assisted by the Rev. John D. Divers conducted the Services.
Mr. Latham, who was 38 years of age and a member of thej Amissville Baptist Church, was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A* Clifford Latham of Amissville, who survive him. • | ;
He. is also survived by hjis wife, who was Sarah 'Elizabeth Cockerill and four small daughters, Elizabeth Anderson, Nancy Conway, Sarah Ellen and Susan Sicker, a few months old. * I
Two sisters, Mrs. H. ■T. Carder and Mrs. W. L. Payne and a brother, J. R. Latham also survive. A brother, Wendall Latham was kiled in Italy in World War II.
Mr. Latham had been due owner and operator of the Amissville Sales and Service Station for about ten years.
The pallbearers were: Rowzie, W. A. Laing Jr. Dennis, Lewie Smith, Deatherage and Charlie
