ail Baptist Church opposite the Post Office building. Later we built a new Baptist Church on part of the lot between Peyton St. and Main Street just back of the Citizen’s Nat’l Bank Bldg. All of that land belonged to my father.
Judge Turner live4 next to Us in Front Royal. I grew up with Smith Turner and I remember his sister, Nyp Turner. She and my mother were such, friends. Robbie Turner and I attended the Baptist Church. The preacher’s name was Wharton. He was the greatest preacher I#ever heard. I have a book of his sermons and read them quite often.
I have lived all over the United States —16 years in Salt Lake City—53 years in California— 8 years at the Eureka Gold Mine, 75 miles from Salt Lake City. I have also lived in New York and Washington, D. C. I have built houses all over and spend a while in one that I built in Front Royal each summer.
My pen refuses to write more.
