Mr. E. V. Wilson Jr., has returned to his home after several days hospitalization in University Hospital.

Mr, and Mrs. Junes Settle attended the wedding of Miss Nancy Jones in Ashland, Saturday. Miss Jones is cousin to Mrs. Settle. The Settles have as their house guests, Mr. and Mrs. S. B.-Settle of Parkersburg, W. Va. Their Sunday guests were Miss Miss Kate Walker of Washington, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Amory of Warwick, Mr. and Mrs. George Settle of Powhatan, and James M. Settle, Jr. and his family of Alexandria. • Mr. Paul Miller, Paula and Louie Miller went to Charlottesville to meet C. G. Reid, Lt. J.G., who fs in the Navy and is stationed in Norfolk. He will spend some time at his mother’s home in Washington, Va.

The Women’s Aux. to the Fire Co. met at the Fire Hall Monday evening. They have announced that a Round Dance will be given at the hall Friday, August 31.
