Mrs. W. Arthur-Miller spent Thursday and Friday in Harrisonburg with Dr. G. Tyler Miller and daughter Miss Alize Brown Miller.

Mrs. Lewis J. Turner returned to her home here on Friday after spending two weeks at South Hill, Va. with Pr. and Mrs. J. H. Turner. While there Mrs. Turner attended an educational workshop at Boyton School.

Mrs. Veronica Keating, with a party of seven young ladies left Monday for Virginia Beach where they have taken an apartment for a week. Those in the group were: Misses Shelia Keating, Evelyn T. Miller, Dolly Smith, Frances Walker. Becky Jones, and Carolyn Gates Turner.

Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Buckner were luncheon guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell.

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser had with them for dinner Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Hampson Keyser and their children, Beverly Ann and Gregory, and John D. Keyser of Arington, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Edmonds and son, Eddie and Walter Krause of Flint Hill.

Mrs. Esther Nicholson of Newport ^lews and Mrs. Hawyard Spence and daughter, Deborah of Norfolk are spending a few days withe Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nicholson.

Pvt. Willaim E. Nicholson, Robert Leonard and Bobbie Frazier returned Saturday after spending two weeks at Indian Town Gap, Penna.

Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Buckner were luncheon guests on Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell. 'Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Many and! daughters. Rachael and Sue of Ivy Hill were guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. M. Stevens, in Washington, D. C. Later in the day they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Huff and sons of Alexandria. Mrs. L. W. Buckley of Boston, was luncheon guest of her sister, Mf*. R. E. Many of Ivy Hill on Thursday.
