Wm. Smith Injured
In Sunday Accident
William Smith of Washington, D. C., son of Mrs. Dennis Jenkins, with whom he had been spending a few days, suffered a . broken arm !and ankle bone and severe cuts about the face when he was hit by a car Sunday. ;The car. was driven by Mrs. Virginia Payne Wynham of Brightwood.
Mr. Smith was walking along Route 231 about % mile from Sperryville when the accident occurred. He was taken to Warrcn County Hospital by the Washington Rescue Squad and released on Tuesday Oct. 23.
State Trooper W. A. Buntin investigated the accident.
