The Shenandoah National Park had as usual for October, aj record number of visitors Sundavj Hundreds of cars were on thjr road, and all picnic tables were jin use.
Fruit stands were sellingj apples ! and cider and all waysid^ shops seemed to be doing a thriving business. The late rains and not toy heavy i frosts have added up to birilliant colors in th# Forests andj along the road sides. Tourists seejned to be enjoying everything to the fullest extent,, along with thej brilliant Fall sunshine. Some liy flat on the ground with bare basics and legs in order to put a finishing touch to their suntan. j
