' The average consignment at our calf sale on Oct. 16th was about 24 head of calves representing approximately 14 steer and ID heifer calves. If you were just an average producer these calves would have fetched you $2243.06 less certain marketing and promotional fees as well as hauling costs. Also you would have had to take one calf back home either because it was improperly castrated, physically defective in some wav. or just plain common in grade. Can vou be content to remain average? That of course depends upon vour attitude, wants and inhibitions.
