About the time the moon is full in October, the birds will fly into trees, fences, buildings, etc., and kill themselves.
I have known 'three to have killed themselves flying into our ” house—besides I have picked up several in the woods while squirril hunting.
This crazy spell lasts about aweek or ten days only and far more of them ate killed this way than by hunters.
