Mr. and Mrs. John Davis were 1 dinner guests Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Crowder and Mrs. W. M. Gravatt of Blackstone were luncheon guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones. In the afternoon they attended the Randolph Macon-Episcopal High football game in Front Royal. The Crowder’s'son, Moncure Crowder is a member of the Episcopal High squad. Miss Becky Jones who is a student at Longwood College joined the <>arty at Farmville for the trip, returning the same afternoon.
Miss Evelyn Tyler Miller was an overnight guest Thursday at Mt. Prospect Friday. She left for West Point, N. Y. where she attended the week end dances at United States Military Academy.
