He was a graduate of Virginia Medical College, School of Dentistry, Class of 1915 and served as 1st. Lt. in the Medical Corps during World War I. He. was a member of VFVV and Calvary Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the Virginia Dental Association and a Mason.
He had practiced Dentistry in Front Royal for the last 20 years.
Pallbearers were Dr. Albert L. Miller, Dr. Milton A. Joyce, Dr. William J. Sweeney, Dr. Ray B. Collins. Judge Elliott D. Marshall, Judge Leroy Corron, Mr. Turner A. Slaughter and Mr. Arthur Miller.
