The Carver High School Band and Rand Parents’ Club invite you to attend their annual Rand Carnival on November 16. 1956 at 8 o’clock in the high school auditorium. 'There will be prizes, games and dances. The highlights of the evening’s activities will he the big drawing for the ten turkeys and ten hens being given away.
Mr. and Mrs. Gayland Rutler and son, Charles, spent Sunday in Orange and attended the services at Shadv Grove Raptist Church.
Mr. Rutler and Charles also visited Mr. Vivian Richardson in .the afternoon at his home in Louisa County.

Mrs. Fannie Jackson wishes to thank her many friends, both white and Colored for their every act of kindness shown to the late Richard Holmes who died at her Home on Oct. 25, 1956 during her absent.
