Halloween Party Of
M. Y. F. At Rec. Hall
The Halloween Party given on Wednesday evening at the Recreation Hall in Sperryville where a large crowd gathered to enjoy the fun provided by the sponsors, the Methodist Youth Fellowship of the local chufch was a great success. Many attractive features such as cake walks, fun house and fortune telling, with plenty of. hot dogs* and soft drinks were on the program of entertainment.
The hall was tastefully decorated with colors black and orange crepe-paper in keeping with the holiday season. And to say the least about the masqueraders whose costumes were both unusual, funny and original caused much speculation.
The prize winners were, for the best looking couple, Carolyn Brown and Dorothy Hawkins, Tish Kilby
her funniest costume and Jack in Mason Weaver in 'the most original make-up.
The proceeds of] this party will be used for educational purposes of a leader for the M. Y. F. group.
