Flint <Hill 4-H Night -Club met with Jean Lillard for their November meeting. The annual achievement day program was discussed. This event will be held November 16 at Rappahannock County High School. At this time awards won through the year will be given ,as well as special recognition to 4-H leaders.

Mrs. G. W. Powers, agent, and Mrs. Randolph Foster, leader, showed the girls how to select becoming and smart looking readymade clothing. Points to look for in getting good quality and economical garments were shown. Jean Lillard was in charge of the program for the meeting.'

Mrs. James M. Settle went to Washington, D. C. Friday evening.

Miss Ann Brady was at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady for several days last week. Ann was a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital for about ten days after a fall, she suffered during a basketball practice. She is n^>w able to return to her classes at the hospital, where she is a second year nursing student.
