The W.S.C.S. of the Flint Hill Methodist Church met Thursday, April 23 alt the home of Mrs. M. R. Bradford. Present were Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Walter Saunders, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. and Mrs. Lockett Burford.

Garden Club Meets

The Rappahannock Garden Club met Wednesday, April 29 at the home of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and Mrs. Harry GalKhugh.

Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr. was chairman of the meeting and the program was on Herbs, Legends and ideas. Hie exhibit was an arrangement showing rhythm.

RUMMAGE SALE

The Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company now have some of their merchandise on display in the windows of die Jake Cary building across from the old post office building where their* sale will open at 9:30 ami. Friday, May 1st Please bring in your donations as soon as possible.
