F.F.A. Wins Meet

Maurice Butler, representing Rappahannock High Future Fanners of America, won top honors and the Gold Medal in the Northern Triangle Federation tractor drivers contest held in Leesburg on April 23, 1959.

The contest was conducted according to statewide rules and regulations. The program provides for driving through an intricate course pulling a trailer and also belting the tractor to an implement

The complete placing of contestants was as follows: First, Maurice Butler, Rappahannock; second, McDonald, James Wood third, Danny Hite, Luray. _

Maurice Butler will represent the N. T. Federation in the area contest to be held in Woodstock May 7th.
