Army PFC William L. Aylor, whose wife Lillian, lives on Route 1, Washington, Va., recently received a driver’s badge for the safe operation of a tracked vehicle while assigned to the 2nd Armored Calvary in Amberg, Germany.
Aylor, a tracked vehicle driver in the calvary1* Howitzer Company, entered the Army in July 1957 and arrived in Europe in Fd>ruary 1958. .
The 24-year-old soldier, son of ' Mr. arid Mrs. Lewis E. Aylor, Sperryville, attended Culpeper High School and was employed by the Rappahannock County School Board, Sperryville, prior to entering the Army.
