Washington—-This year, the Army Engineers are spending $230,00t> on a “review’' of their former recommendations Concerning the building of dams on the Potomac River and its tributaries. Last year, $166,000 was used for this purpose. President .Eisenhower’s budget for the next fiscal year includes $490,000 to continue the “review.”
Eventually the Engineers will prepare and submit to Congress a report setting .forth the thin® which this federal agency thinks should be done in the Potomac River basin to insure an adequate water supply, improve flood protection and increase power- generation facilities
