Tuesday, November 3rd is election day. It is the duty of all eligible voters to use their right to elect the governing body of their county.
Only two offites in Rappahannock arc contested. J. W. Critaer, the incumbent for Sheriff is opposed by Frank Huff. In Wakefield District, present member of the Board of Supervisors, Herbert Foster is being opposed by Capt. J. P. Cook, who did not qualify in time to get his name on the ballot.
George H. Davis, Jr. is seeking the office of Commonwealth Attorney, vacated by J. W. Price, who is not seeking re-election.
Candidates for re-election who have no opposition are Robert. L. Brown, Treasurer; James M. Settle, Clerk; and Roberta M. Spalding, Commissioner of Revenue. ”
