Grand Jury Returns
17 Indictments
The Grand Jury returned 17 felony indictments (all true bills) at the Circuit Court in Rappahannock County Monday, January 11, 1960. Judge R. V. Snead presided.
Two indictments against Lawerence Ehilich ; two agair&tWilliam Jones, alias Willie Jones for feloniously shooting; three indictments against George Smith, Jr. who was charged with involuntary manslaughter as a result of an auto accident at Massie’s Corner December 19. Smith was tried and given one year on each count with sen-f fence suspended on good behavior.,'
One indictment against Hugh Carter for a shooting at Amissville; one against Andrew Deal; four against Clifton Deal, alias Sonnie Deal; four against Robert (Rob) Hunter.
James H. Raly was admitted to practice in, the Circuit Court of Rappahannock. He represented. George Smith, Jr.
