Good Year

The Children’s Home Society of Virginia reported a record breaking income of $222,876 for 1959 at the Annual Meeting held in Richmond on January 27.

In his Annual Report the secretary, J. W. Stuart Gilchrist, stated that 147 new babies were received and that the total number in care was 412. Of these babies 207 were in adoptive homes at the beginning of the year and 128 others were placed for adoption.
