Supervisors Meet
Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors met with all members present and Chairman E. M. Jones presiding, on Wednesday,. February 3rd.
The minutes of the January meeting were read and approved.
A letter from Mr. Poe, an architect, who was making sketches and bids on fire proofing and enlarging the clerk’s office, stated -he was ready to appear before the board and submit same. Supervisors agreed to ask him to the March meeting to discuss the plans.
Resident, Engineer J. T. War- . ren and Moffett Brady of the I Highway Department asked that a public road hearing be slated for the March meeting of the board.
Mrs. W. A. Buntin appeared before the supervisors to question the turning down of a welfare hospital bill- at a prior meeting and to submit a second request for payment of another hospital bill. Both bills were’voted to be paid with the understanding of partial .reimbursement to the county whei\ able.
Gen. Daniel Noce spoke to the board on urging legislation in ?he state to get dairy inspection com-x pletely under the Department of Agriculture instead of both Agricumire and Sanitation which have conflicting regulations.
One sheep claim was turned down.
Regulating hunting season . in the county to concur with Warren County was discussed and a suggestion made that some of the supervisors appear before the meeting of the Game Commission in Rich- ’ mond in March.
March appropriations were read and approved and payment of current bills was approved.
