Mrs. Louise Osborne
Mrs. Louise Glenn Osborne, 55, of Jeffersonton, wife of Rev. Fletcher Osborne, pastor of Amissville. Oak Shade and Jeffersonton Methodist Churches, died Monday morning, February 1st at Johnson Willis IHbspital in Richmond after a long period of declining health.
Mrs. Osborne was a native of Prospect, Va. and was a school teacher for a number of years. She was a life member of the Prospect Methodist W. S. C. S.
Besides her husband survivors are her mother, Mrs. W. H. Glenn of Glen Allen, Va.; and one sister, Mrs. Audrey Mustoe of Hot Springs, Va.
Funeral services were held on ► Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Prospect with interment in the family section of the cemetery.
Robert C. Brooks
Robert Clijton Brooks, 85, of Culpeper died Friday, January 29 at his home.
He was a retired manager of Virginia ‘Electric & Power Company in Norfolk and Newport News. Mr. and Mrs. Brooks at one time lived in Rappahannock County on the farm now owned by Mr. and Mrs. John H. Williams near Amissville, Va.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Miller Brooks of Culpeper; a son R. Clifton Brooks Jr. of St. Louis, Mo. and a brother Lawrence D. Brooks of San Angelo, Texas.
Furteral sejrvices were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
