Trinity Church Holds ^

Congregational Meeting

Trinity Episcopal Church at Washington held a congregational meeting Thursday, February 4. Approximately 40 members of the congregation gathered in the parish-hall at 6:30 p.m. for a covered dish supper which was followed by the business meeting.

The congregation heard reports from the various church agencies concerning their activities in 1959 and their plan for 1960. Those giving reports were: Women’s Auxiliary, Mrs. Thomas Pillar and Mrs. R. V. Snead; Young People’s Group, Barney Pauze’; Vestry, W. R. Williamson; Lay Delegate, S. E. Hening; Treasurer Milton Gore; Rector, Rev. W. P. Parrish.

Date For Annual Banquet

At the January meeting of the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary to the - Fire Company, the date of the annual banquet honoring the firemen was set for March 17. Invitations are being issued to fire companies and auxiliaries in the surrounding area.
