The four major races will bring out top-flight horses of the Virginia-Maryland Point-tO-Point- circuit: the Ladies’ race, two gentlemen’s races, and the Mary D. Slaughter Memorial Open Race are run over 14 Aiken-type timber fences on a 3-mile course.
The Hound Race, open to all hound owners in the Rappahan- — nock IHtunt territory, (which includes parts of Madison, Culpeper and Rappahiannock counties,) is the final and a favorite event. Schedule time: 5 p.m.
