Planning Meeting

A planning meeting for our annual “4-H Supper” was held last week at the Courthouse with 4-H members, leaders and parents presenting their ideas for a successful supper. Many ideas were presented including one to move the location of the supper, formerly held at the Parish Hall in Washington, to the Flint Hill community this year. After discussing this proposal it was decided upon to hold the 4-H Supper at the Flint Hill Fire Hall, Saturday, March 19th from 5 to 7 pjn. A home cooked ham dinner will be featured. Tickets for the supper will go on sale the first week in March at $1.00 for adults and 75 cents for children 12 years old and under. Circle this date on your calendar now if you don't want to miss a good meal and pleasant evening with your friends and neighbors!

Tractor Care Project

Mr. Wallace Russell instructed the boys on the principles of “What Makes An Engine Run” and Mr. Raymond Sutphin explained and showed how simple adjustments can be made in “Saving Fuel” during tractor operation.

Baby Beeves

Mark, Ned and Walter B. will show and sell their calves at the Warren-Page Baby Beef Show and Sale to be held at the Front Royal Livestock Market on Thursday, April 28th. Walter B. is also plan, ning to take his second calf to the Richmond Premium Stock Show and Sale on the 3rd day ofMay,
