Mrs. Kate Lillard Petty, 69, widow of Mark Petty of Rappahannock County, d ed Tuesday evening, February 9, at Winchester Memorial Hospital.
M rs. Petty, daughter of the late William Henry and Sarah Nethers Lillard, was born and reared in Rappahannock County. She is survived by-one son, Jack Petty with whom she made her home at Avon Cottage, Washington, Va.j two sisters, Mrs. Walker B. Jenkins •of Washington, Va. and Mrs. Clifton Naide of Maryland; five brothers, Ashby Lillard of Luray, Harry Lillard of Boston, Va., Henry and Carroll Lillard of Falls Church and Nethers Lillard of Warrenton; and three grandchjidGravrsidc
funeral services *tyill be conducted Thursday (today), February 11 at 2 p.m. at the Masonic Cemetery at Washington, Va., with Rev. A. D. Goodson a former minister of Washington Methodist Church, officiating.
Nephews of Mrs. Petty will act as pallbearers. They are William A. Lillard. Reid Liilard, Ray Lillard,' Robert ' Lillard, Thomas Hawkins and William 'Hawkins.
