John F. Jolliffe
John Franklin Jolliffe, a young farmer of Estes, died in Front Royal Sunday morning, February 28, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident near Flint Hill. He was 17 years old.
Son of Mrs. Maude Raines Jolliffe and the late Frank Maryland Jolliffe, who died in recent months, he was a native of Rappahannock County. Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, -.Tyson Lee Jolliffe and two sisters, Judy Jeanette ajid Natalie Gay Jolliffe, all of Estes.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, March 1, from Forest Grove Baptist Church. The pastor, Rev. John B. Hodge, conducted the last rites, assisted by Rev. Leslie Napier. Interment was in the Jolliffe family cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eulis Estes, Hugh Jolliffe, Robert Jolliffe, Festus1 Hitt, James Grigsby, Jack Jolliffe, Donald Lee and Randy Estes.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Geest Funeral Parlors in Culpeper.
