Mrs. Barbara Hinkle of West Virginia was a Saturday visitor of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller.

Willie Gentry is spending a month in Marlington, W. Va.

Miss Doly Lillardwho has a position in Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard.

Mrs. Frank Cary was called to Woodstock by the illness of her mother, Mrs. Miller. Mrs. Cary is staying at the home of Mrs; Angus Hopkins.

Mrs. John S. Browning spent, Tuesday in Charlottesville. She was accompanied home by her son John B. Browning who is ill.

Dr. and Mrs. R. S. Bowersett and their children of Silver Spring, Md. were guests form Sunday until Monday of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Settle- Capt. Robert Petersen of Georgia was a recent visitor of the Settles. Sunday Mr.' and Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray visited Mr. and Mrs. Settle. Miss Elise Browning Miller of Harrisonburg will visit Mr. and Mrs. Settle for the wkeeend.

The W.S.C.S of the Methodist Church of Flint Hill met Thursday at the home of Mrs. Willie Gentiy. The program was a study class on Africa. Those present for the meeting were Mrs. Edward Lstter. Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. Frank Cary. Mrs. Lockett Burford and Mrs. Paul Miller.
