Point-to-Poin Races Saturday I!
I noticed in most of .the stores in Culpeper today that business would cease Friday, March 4th for one hour, from 10:30 until 11 :30 a.m. in observance of the World Day of Prayer. I think it would be simply wonderful if all business far and wide would close for just an hour—let the world stop, pray and think.
We have heard from three people who were born in Leap Year. They are Mary Sue Atkins, Mrs. Wade Settle and Lillard Jackson.
Talking to Cassie Coates this morning, she informed me that her granddaddv, Dr. Snead, is a very young man. Isn’t she wonderful?
