It has been reported Charles E. BalL Farm Journal’s Southern field Staff, has been taking photos of C. E. Johnson’s Angus herd to be used in connection with an article on Record of Performance testing of beef cattle which will appear in the Journal at a later date. We like to see recognition being made of a man’s success in application of a practical tool. Congratulations to the Johnsons!

Clyde Givens will become joint Assistant County Agent in Warren and Rappahannock Counties July 1. Watch for a more detailed introduction to Mr. Givens in a later issue of the News. For sure, I’ll welcome Mr. Givens. The pace of trying to fill two jogs has my ‘pints’’ creaking and you know what’9 dragging.
