Randall Updike Receives
Acclaim For Sheep
Randall Updike received recognition in the June issue of Livestock Breeder Journal. To quote from this nationally circulated publication: “Judges Joe Graham of the Virginia Division of Markets and Turner Gilmer, Jr., president of the Virginia Beef Cattle Association, picked Randall Updike of Washington, Va., as the top sheep showman of the day. Randall had first place in both the Dorset and Southdown classes.”
Randall is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Updike of Washington. A graduate of Rappahannock High School, he is now a student at VPI enrolled in the cirriculum of Animal Husbandry in the school of Agriculture and applied Sciences.
