Dr. and Mrs. Rupert Quaintance had as weekend guests Mr. and Mrs. Russell Foglesong of Charleston. W. Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Boles Mudrey and sons Mike and Greg of Manassas were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gid Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jenkins. Sunday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. John Jenkins and children of Boston.
Wednesday, Miss Carol Cobert accompanied Miss Amelia Smith, who is Miss Culpeper, to Roanoke where Miss Smith competed in the Miss Virginia Pageant. Miss Cobert has enrolled in Washington School for Secretaries for the summer and plans to live with her grandmother, Mrs. M. H. Lanham in Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Cobert are entertaining Mrs. John A. Springer and daughters, Missy and Kelly Ann of Uniontown, Pa. for the week. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thomas and Mr. and Mrs.. James Eavey of Culpeper spent Sunday with the Coberts and enjoyed a picnic supper on the lawn.
