Lawn Party At Chester Gap
There will be a lawn party at Greeley’s Store Saturday evening July 30, beginning at 5 o’clock for the benefit of the Chester Gap Fire Department. The menu will consist of ham, chicken, potato salad, green beans, cole slaw, cake, pie, ice cream and hot and cold drinks. It will be served by the piece or the plate as desired. In case of rain it will be served inside.
Youth Group Meets
The Youth Group of Rappahannock County met July 24 at the fire hall in Flint Hill with Dr. Carlton French, a missionary, as guest speaker, who gave us some very' useful advice for the future.
The next meeting of the group will be July 31 at the Episcopal parish hall in Washington, Va.
Again we urge all teen-agers in the area to join us for an, evening of worship and recreation.

Homecoming And Revival At Forest Grove Church
Forest Grove Baptist Church Homecoming Services will be held at the church on Sunday, July 31, beginning at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served on the grounds at 12:30, followed by an afternoon service, at which time the new Sunday School rooms will be dedicated.
Rev. M. 'EX Sliger, a former pastor will beVhe guest speaker.
Revival services will be held each evening at Forest Grove, Monday, August 1 through August 5 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Sliger as evangelist for the week. Rev. Sliger at present is pastor of the Rich Creek Baptist Church.
The public is cordially invited to attend these services.
