5. With less interference from government, the marketing system will be freer to operate effectively and efficiently and thus encourage expansion of market outlets and production of quality products.

9. We strongly oppose the establishment of maximums on price support loans, either in total or as applied to individual farmers.
10. The compensatory or direct production payment approach is unsound and dangerous to our economic and political system.
