Dear Folks
Have just been talking to Bert Spalding and hearing all about her trip abroad. She had a wonderful time and being with Bobbie again was almost like heaven. It's really amazing to think that Bert left London at 12 noon Wednesday and was back in dear old Washington at her desk at 8:30 Thursday morning.
For goodness sakes, if any one out around Ned Settle’s or anyone in town has seen a yellow cat roaming about, pilease call and let the Settles know right away. The cat belongs to Nancy Buntin and they were keeping it for her while she is on vacation.
letters have been out for a week asking for donations for the county library—have you sent in your donation? If not, why don’t you do it right this minute?
It’s nice 'to have Jimmie Settle back in town. He Is working half a day now and seems to be feeling just fine.
