Sim Kemper Dodson
Sim Kemper Dodson, 49, died suddenly Mondav morning at his home in Sperryville, Va., after suffering a heart attack.
He was a son of the late John W. Dodson of Rappahannock and Mrs. Alice Leake Dodson of Sperville and Baltimore, Md., who survives him. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Delia Leake of Sperryville and Mrs. Clara Woodward of Baltimore; two brothers, Milton Dodson of Sperryville and William Dodson of Baltimore; a half brother-John Dodson of Sperryville.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, July 27 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper with Rev. Gayle Titchenell, pastor of Woodville Baptist Church officiating.
Pallbearers were Gene Wood, Maurice O’Bannon, James Falls, Roy Leake, James Leake and Conrad Leake.

Among visitors last week of Mr. and Mrs. Walrer Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wines and family of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Lvle Williams. Mrs. Mary Alevhire, Mrs. Alden Settle of Front Roval, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Henrv and son of Maryland, Mrs. Noah Mahoney, Flint Hill. Eston Campbell. Alexandria, and Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Wines, Mrs. Betsy Wines, Mrs. Eddie fox, and Mrs. Harrison Mahoney.
Mr. and Mrs. Lin wood Frazier and daughter returned to their home in Lura\ Sunday after spending a week as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hickerson. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Hickeson and son Danny, who returned to their home in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Fox and two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Fox. Mrs. Oney Fox, Mrs. Flora Sealock and Golden Sealock spent Sunday in Savage, Md. where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sealock and family.
Mr. and Airs. Giles Fox and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Wright of Richmond are guests this week of Mrs. Minnie Fox and are also visiting other relatives in this vicinity.
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Dulin, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Dulin of Morgantown, W. Va.. Mrs. Bessie Sealock of Winchester and Mrs. Myrtle Sealock of Front Royal were visitors for several days last week of Mrs. Flora Sealock and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Henry and son of Mary land were dinner guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams.
