Larry Gossom Injured U
In Automobile Accident
Larry Gossom, son of Mrs. Thompson Adams and Mr. Adams of Washington, Va., was injured in a one-car collision Wednesday night, July 20 when his car overturned when he swerved to. miss a rock in the road.
Gossom received a broken pelvis and shoulder and is in Warren Memorial Hospital where he will have to remain for several weeks.
Dedication Service At
Bethlehem Church
Bethlehem Methodist Church at Nethers Mill held a service Sunday, July 17 at which time the recently built educational rooms were dedicated. .
Rev. Lawrence Eastoi\ welcomed those attending the service and Rev. Frank Schumaker read the scripture and made a prayer. GueSt speaker was Rev. Garry Shelton.
Mrs. Nelson Rivercomb of Arlington gave a vocal rendition of ‘‘Bless This House,” accompanied by Miss Betty Riddle at the piano.
Three educational rooms have been completed and furnished,
Several hundred people attended the dedication.
