Take Soil Sample
The ASC [Office would like to remind farmers to take their soil sample now. We plan to have our 19 6 1 Agricultural Conservation Program (ACP) sign up period beginning in November. Several of the practices jcall for lime, if soil test shows need. These practices are A-l, Orchard Cover; A-2 Permanent Vegetative Cover; A-3 Additional Rotation Cover; A-4 Liming Farmland!; B-l Improving Permanent Covet; and C-l Sod Waterways.
If samples fire taken over a longer period it Would help the work load for the county agent.
