Four-State Farmers
Association
The four State Fanners Association has announced a change in organizational structure, and also a change in the Association’s annual meeting which will be held in January.
In order to attain a more adequate representation from thte four states in the association (Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia), two persons from each of the four states have been named to the group’s executive committee. c
Representing Virginia ' on the committee will be Garland Clark, district county agent at Luray and H. E. Wakeman, well known Page County farmer.
As members of (the executive committee they will work with officers of the Association, the various county agents and committeemen in determining and guiding the policies < Group.
In another cut down on t nual farmers meeting and to give more farmers an opportunity to attend, the Association also announced that two separate meetings will be held next year instead of the usual single meeting.
Full details of these meetings have not been formulated, but it was revealed that the first meeting would be held in Hagerstown, and the second meeting would be scheduled for the following day in Winchester.
The actual dates of these meetings and the daily programs will be announced early next month.
