House Tour And

Flower Sale The ladies of B torn field Parish were very successful again this year with the House Tour and dried flower sale held recently, though thev report that the tour was not quite as well attended as last year. Everything from the able assistance of the Boy Scouts giving directions and changing flat tires to the charming hostesses, affable hosts and lovely tour guides was perfection. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson in Sperryvjlle a sales * room was established and many, many beautiful dried arrangements were to be h«gl.

Mrs. |ohrtson also had in the back yard, a number of necessary items for preserving apples. A huge copper, apple butter kettle hung there and there was even a little keg which could be used for some thing, I’m sure. All one would ■have need to do was go to work, for the apples were right there.

Mrs. Charles H. Estes had been turning out some very ingenuous flower arrangements, as usual. She had flowers in everything from a baseball to a large gold picture frame, which was inndeed the lovliest creation imaginable. Mrs. Es
