County Farm Bureau
Following are some of the resolutions presented and passed at the Annual Membership Meeting recently held by the Rappahannock ounty Farm Bureau.
1. Livestock Grading—Resolution.That there be standardized and continued state grading on sheep and calves and that thisgrading be extended to all livestock for slaughter in the State of Virginia.
Resolution—favoring federal gradir^ of cattle a^d all livestock by L'.S.D.A. and suggested that it be extended to grading at the local, level on all livestock sol for slaughter.
2. Grain Grading—Resolution that the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau favors the resolution adopted by the Virginia Farm Bureau in November. 1959, requesting that the Department of Agriculture adopt and prescribe stands ard procedures for the sampling and testing of grain and that such samples be taken from the clean grain if payment of same is to be based upon the cleaned weight.
Resolution,, thtat the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau also support the Virginia Farm Bureau resolution, recommending that all grain be priced by the hundred Weight rather than by the bushel.
3. Dairy Inspection—Resolution that ^ve continue to favor the Farm
