The Fall Meeting of the 4-H County Council was held Friday, November 4th at 7:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Parish Hall, Washington, Va. Betty Kay Kilby, Presiident, called the metlawa to order after which Charlotte Moore led the group in a get-acquainted game. Forty-four officers from ten clubs in the county were introduced along with leaders and guests.
County goals selected fdr 196061 were 1. Recommend one boy and one girl for All Star each year if eligible.
2. Have at least 85% completion of projects and turned in records.
3. Have one boy and one girl as junior leaders for each club. Give publicity so all 4 H’ers will know who the 4-H junior leaders are.
4. Send two boys and two girls to State Short Course.
5. Sponsor 4-H supper during National 4-H ( lub week. Give publicity duri ig 4-H Club Week in newspapers and on radio.
