The principal, Harvey Fleshmon informed the members that a new gymnasium would be constructed in the near future with full equipment and two classrooms, and that a new microphone system had been installed in the auditorium to facilitate audibility.
The president appointed his executive committee which comprised the newly elected officers and Mrs. Mary' Carpenter of Rappahannock County. He further expressed appreciation for the confidence entrusted in him and stated that he would strive to the best of his ability to promote a wholesome, progressive PTA at the Carver High School.
