A total of 43 persons made the" trip to Washington, D. C. on Nov\ ember 5, 1960, to see “Ben-Hur”. Every person who went felt it was certainly a very worthwhile trip. We appreciated very much those who volunteered cars and themselves to aid us with our transportation problem. These persons were Judge Snead, Mr. Ned Jones, Miss Mary Miller Wood, and Mrs. Pauline Bruce.
Our regular Sunday night meeting was held in Flint 'Hill. The attendance of our group is still growing. Our program was a “makebelieve” election. We had our regular business meeting at which time the Christmas card sales were discussed. Our members are now in the process of selling some lovely Christmas cards and we would sincerely appreciate all orders that we receive.
Next week the meeting will be held at the Washington Baptist Church at 7:30 p. m. After refreshments, our meeting was adjourned.
